It is the perennial color that defines the landscape of this country rife with natural parks – they are more than forty-, ecological reserves, volcanoes, tropical forests and spectacular beaches. Notes this small photo gallery and you’ll see that an unquestionable protagonist there is: mother nature.
That 25 percent of the territory of Costa Rica is protected, something that does not occur in any other country in the world, much of its natural potential, an authentic paradise says that its inhabitants have been wisely preserved. See the spawning of the green sea turtles in Tortuguero National Park; walking between the thickness of the tropical rainforest of Manuel Antonio; Watch fall the washes incandescent of Arenal Volcano from its crater located 1.633 m. in height while one is immersed in the thermal waters that flow at his feet; admire the colorful quetzals in the Monteverde reserve; emulate the monkeys traveling suspended between the tops of trees, to dive on the beaches of Guanacaste… Nature, of course, has been very generous with this small country situated in the heart of Central America and that extends from the Pacific Ocean to the sea Caribbean.

In the Asian giant things have changed, and long. And, however, entering the forbidden city implies look back and remember the times of Imperial China. The Bertolucci film encouraged to take a tour of the interior through the autobiographical story of Pu Yi, last emperor of a world crumbling to forced marches under the heart of Beijing.

Bertolucci was the first foreign conductor which Chinese authorities allowed to shoot inside the forbidden city, the imperial palace from the Ming and Qing dynasties from 1420 to 1912 exercised their power. As he narrates with great find this nine Oscar-winning blockbuster, it was then when the country’s new rulers deposed Pu Yi, last emperor, still a child, although he was allowed to live with all the honors a dozen years in this immense Hall provided, that Yes, would not dare to go outside their walls.

To sneak into the byways of the forbidden city should leave behind the huge portrait of Mao that presides over the current Tiananmen Square today. Unequivocal proof that in China, things have changed, and much. Converted into a museum just a year after the emperor was forced to abdicate, the forbidden city is the palatial largest venue on the planet, with some thousand buildings and nearly 9,000 rooms and halls scattered between concourses and courtyards enclosed by walls and a huge moat with its 720,000 square meters.

Symmetry and the splendor of this symbol of imperial China represent the balance between the cosmic triáda consisting of heaven, Earth and man, between those who mediated as link only the figure of the emperor. This microcosm at the exclusive service of his Majesty, erected on a huge rectangle in which every building was prepared according to the designs of the polymath and the hierarchy of its occupants, is today visited by nearly seven million people each year. Between the flags of their area of the ‘foreign court’, where hearings were granted and were celebrated the great festivals, ceremonies and banquets, not to be losing the Hall of Central harmony, the Hall of the preserved harmony and, above all, the Hall of the harmony Supreme, the most elegant of the three, also known as the golden throne hall. The ‘inner court’, reserved for the Emperor, their wives and concubines, environment also allows freely wander through magnificent units such as the Hall of heavenly purity.

In addition to the forbidden city, the last emperor invites you to discover other real scenarios, where some of his scenes were filmed: the train station in Changchun, the capital of the State of Manchukuo between 1931 and 1945, whose throne was occupied by the ousted Pu Yi; the city of Dalian, which made the times of the old Japanese colony of Tientsin, in which the emperor took refuge to leave Beijing; or the summer palace on the outskirts of the capital, heritage as well as the very forbidden city.

How to get there
Bound flights to Beijing can be hired from 525 €.ICU proposes its circuit China millenarian of 11 days since 1.398 €.

Where to sleep
Among their best hotels, The Peninsula, the Hyatt and the historic Raffles, opened in 1917.

Where to eat
The Cantonese Hotel Peninsula, Huang Ting to taste delicious dim-sum; the equally exclusive Whampoa Club (Jia 23 Jinrong Jie) or, more moderate price and in a charming setting, the Dali (Xiao Jing Chang Hu Tong), Yunnan specialities in a romantic courtyard.

Don’t let by…
Spend a morning at the forbidden city, next to Tiananmen Square also essential, visit the Palace of summer and the Temple of heaven, the Capital Museum, the Beihai Park, the Lama Temple, the hutong or traditional neighborhoods and the National Stadium, the new icon of Beijing as well as make an excursion to the great wall and Ming tombs.

Flying over this huge hole, formed by a meteorite impact more than 300,000 million years, to appreciate this physical phenomenon in all its magnitude and discover one of the lesser known areas of Western Australia.
Aborigines have the Wolf Creek crater, or Kandimalal, originated as a result of the birth of the great Rainbow Serpent, a mythical deity that emerged from the depths of Earth to create life in the world. Until 1947 no one contradicted this belief, because the world was unaware of this huge crater in Western Australia and unexplored depths.

At that time, European scientists discovered that deep wound in the earth, caused more than 300,000 million years for a 50,000-ton rock that fell from the sky at a speed of 15 kilometers per second. Over time, the sand that has dragged the wind has got to heal the Earth, leaving a hole 60 meters deep. But to contemplate, even today, traces of the impact are impossible to escape a sense spellbinding.
In Wolf Creek is easy to understand why the natives worship rocks, water, land and sky. Especially in the rainy season, when water accumulates in the center of the crater forming circles of vegetation that contrasts with the rocks, bright red and the sky bright and shiny. At this time, and because of the water, it is difficult to travel by land this oasis of Martian appearance. Scenic flights, however, can comfortably admire bird’s eye view and the magnitude of the impact of the meteorite.

If the crater is dry, you may visit the Wolf Creek National Park and, hopefully, to see some of the strange animals that live there, as the dragon lizard, the red kangaroo or Inca Cockatoo, a crested bird with highly original pink. In any case, the view of the crater from the air is an experience must once reach as far away destination, on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert of Australia.

It is increasingly common in this area employ air safaris to fly this and other landscapes to nature, like mountains in the form of towers of the Purnululu National Park. From Halls Creek, the largest city in the Kimberley region, where many of the few remaining Aboriginal Australia “, scenic flights depart from the Northwest Regional Airlines company, performing routes from one or two hours in the crater. Here you can learn about the ancient Aboriginal culture, and even take a trip to Warmun, Turkey Creek (about 160 km from Halls Creek), the largest art center of Gijon, and the natives of this part of the country.

Halls Creek may also be a starting point for exploring the deep Australia, a place where the modern traveler you probably think the same as the British adventurer who visited the continent in the nineteenth century, that has landed on another planet. This anachronistic adventure land also has cinematic essence. The disturbing picture of the crater was the scene of the horror film Wolf Creek, but the red lands and magical Kimberley also invite colossal imagine stories like that starred Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman in the film Australia.

PRACTICAL GUIDE
Getting There:
Companies such as British Airways flights to Sydney from Spain, with a stopover in London, from about 1,300 €. From there, several airlines offer flights to Halls Creek Airport, the main airport in the Kimberley region. From Halls Creek, 200 km from the crater, the company organizes Airlines Northwest Regionals scenic flights an hour and a half on the Wolf Creek crater for a minimum of two passengers, for 140 euros per person. Australia Luxury agency specializing in luxury adventure tours, customized tours offered by the West Australian, including trips to the crater.

Where to stay:
Kimberley Hotel, luxurious accommodation full of memories and photographs of the early explorers of Australia, for about 105 euros per person. Also in Halls Creek Motel, with a garden offering good views of the landscape, for about 95 euros the room.

When to go:
The rainy season (October to March) makes many areas impassable, but transforms the moonscape of the crater in an extraordinary carpet of vegetation and water.

More information:
Tourism Australia and Tourism in the Kimberley region.

In Kimberley not miss…
Purnululu Park, declared World Heritage Site, where the mountain Bungles Bungles, some unusually high towers that seem molded by hand. Neither the town of Kununurra, north of Halls Creek, where you can make routes through the area and cruises on the lake of the same name.

Watch the flight of the giant monster is an experience that you can taste, emotion and respect, on the edge of the deep rift that opened volcanic cataclysms in this region of Peru, one of the deepest chasms of the earth.

For the Incas, the condor was immortal. Says one of the most popular myths about this huge bird which, feeling old, condors fold their wings and dropped on the cliffs, this gesture symbolizing the rebirth of the life cycle. But not only for the Incas the condor was a mythological creature, also has been and it is for other Andean civilizations as collaguas and cabanas, settled long before the Incas by these corners lands in southern Peru, and even today their main inhabitants.

From Arequipa, the road to the Colca Valley in some sections becomes a real blender, with potholes and all, it runs with fascination thanks to some breathtaking views that emerge at every step, chaired by volcanoes, exceeding 6,000 meters and concourses moon inhabited by alpaca and vicuna, which is extracted from the wool softer side of the planet.

The valley, adorned on its sides by the zigzag paths caravans were old flames decanted from the Altiplano and the Pacific, is dotted with colonial churches Dominicans and Franciscans erected after the arrival of the Spanish in key towns as Chivay, Yanque, Maca, Pinchillo, Cabanaconde, Lari or Coporaque; of ancient barns where they kept the crops still grow between the agricultural terraces and platforms built by the Incas in rough adobe villages after which blunt the snowy peaks of the volcano Hualca Hualca or Ampato, and markets in which women collaguas and cabins, easily identifiable by the peculiarity of their colorful costumes and hats, crafts and fabrics shipped by them. But especially the picture of the amazing geography of this secluded valley in the world where the earth opened up dramatically in two giving rise to the second deepest canyon in the world.

Owners and Gentlemen of the Colca Canyon, the condors, which can weigh up to a dozen kilos and more than three meters in size, they use the thermal currents that flow from this tremendous gorge to rise in perfect glide over walls red vertical canyon over 3,000 feet, where they have their nests.

It is especially in the viewpoint of Cruz Del Condor, where either the morning or at dusk, visitors gamble to wait until one makes its appearance and power and amazement at the majesty of its flight. But the miracle can be wrought at any time and, although difficult, this mysterious and elusive flying Andean decides to appear by surprise when he sees fit, patrolling in search of food, above the heads of the lucky ones for a walk between villages in the valley or on a ride through the most rugged of landscapes.

Condor sighting
Condors, from which are estimated only about 6,200 copies on the planet, living in many areas of the Andes, including the coast, although one of the places that are less difficult to spot is the Colca Canyon, home about fifty. The dry season, between April and November, usually provide the best time to see them. The sightings, never insured, usually occur in the early morning or late afternoon, and the most spectacular place to await the meeting is the viewpoint of Cruz Del Colca.

Where to sleep
A little over two years, the Orient Express group opened the most luxurious accommodation throughout the region: Casitas del Colca, a score of field estilosísimos chalets with fireplace and even a small heated pool in each from which to admire, submerged Valley landscapes. The colony has a spa with all sorts of treatments, from a ritual of beauty to a massage to alleviate the effects of altitude sickness or altitude sickness, “not to mention a menu a la carte activities: hiking, fishing, cycling and ride out their sites, and even participate in a cooking class with chefs using organic ingredients from the hotel garden, learn to observe the stars or lend a hand as a volunteer at a nearby mission.

Gastronomy
Peruvian cuisine has received in recent decades a well deserved international recognition. In it, the result of the comings and goings of the most diverse peoples, merging tradition and local ingredients with Spanish influence, Japanese and Chinese. Ceviche of fish and seafood, and specialties such as lomo saltado, the tiraditos, chili chicken, kebabs or cause the Lima make the trip to Peru is also a culinary journey. Some specialties of the region Arequipa and Colca Canyon, Rocoto, quinoa fritters or fried guinea pig chactado can be tasted in the markets in the region and its popular restaurants nearby, but the best cuisine is offered in restaurants of its most luxurious hotels, such as those mentioned Casitas del Colca, with Yanque, or three stars and Casa Andina Colca Lodge, Chivay and its surroundings, respectively.

In the Untied States, many Americans dream of vacationing overseas and visa versa. Despite wishing to vacation overseas in Europe, there are many individuals who are unable to do so. If you are able to take the time and set aside the money to, you are encouraged to vacation there. When vacationing overseas, you will see that you have an unlimited number of options. One of those options includes an overseas cruise.

Vacationing aboard an overseas cruise ship has a number of advantages and disadvantages. The main disadvantage is the cost of doing so. If you live in the United States, to arrive overseas you will often have to make the appropriate travel accommodations. The most viable option is by airplane. The cost of flying to another country can be high and travel time can be long. Despite the length and cost of travel, many find the trip to be rewarding.

The main advantage of vacationing on an overseas cruise ship is that, in a way, you will be having two vacations at the same time. A cruise, itself, can be considered a vacation. Traveling to a foreign country can also be considered a vacation. Combined all into one, you have the vacation that most individuals only dream of.

If you are concerned with the activities found onboard an overseas cruise ship, you will not have to worry. With all other cruise ships, overseas cruise ships activities include swimming, gambling, dinging, and dancing. The only difference between a domestic cruise and an overseas cruise may be the cruise theme. If you are vacationing aboard a cruise ship in Europe, you may find that the cruise ship décor has a European theme or style.

While the activities, services, and facilities found onboard a cruise ship is important, so is the opportunity to see foreign land. Depending on the cruise ship in question, you may dock at a number of foreign ports. When researching the ports of call, it is important to determine exactly how long your cruise ship will stay docked there. If the time is long enough, you may be able to leave the ship and see what the port area has to offer.

If you have never had the pleasure of traveling overseas, you may find an overseas cruise ship rewarding. If you are able to leave the ship and sightsee, there are a number of attractions that you could visit. This is the time when it often appears that you are on a completely different vacation. Since the time an overseas cruise ship will stay docked at a port will vary, you are encouraged to research your stops ahead of time.

Simply by performing a standard internet search, you could familiarize yourself with the city or town that you will visit. In addition to internet search, you may be able to request travel brochures. If requesting travel brochures, it is advised that you request them well before your cruise ship sets sail. By familiarizing yourself with popular tourist attractions, you may be able to visit a number of attractions in a short period of time.

By keeping the above mentioned points in mind, you could make the most out of your overseas cruise. If you are interested in booking a vacation on a cruise ship overseas, you are encouraged to schedule your reservation today. Overseas cruise ships are popular, worldwide. A reservation is the best way to ensure that you will be able to have this amazing experience.

Today no one can deny the maximum past several months, came looming: The world is in crisis. Mainly in the economic crisis, a fact that is varied so as ostensibly the attitudes, behaviors and emotions of all human and institutional networks that form the social fabric of a country.

Confidence falls fear the worst, largely determined by the steady drip of negative news that constantly arise from the media concerning the arrest and the fall in consumption, a drop that is reinforced and also feeds back to the internalization of these bad news, which are constant within the tone and clear conversations topical theme

With reference to tourism, the hotel industry and tourist accommodation, the concern may be whether it is even greater, due to the abstract nature of the actual value can have a holiday. I can remember my parents saying, not too long ago, a vacation to the beach was a real luxury.

But I personally do not believe that tourism should be the weakest link in the chain and they have to suffer so much more specific than other sectors. The holidays have become something sacred, something that the average Spanish has been earned through hard work, work that may have endured many moments thanks to the idea of those special moments that only a good holiday can give us.

To this must also join that hoteliers and travel agencies are “putting the batteries” and are redoubling efforts and to promote more aggressive as possible to their products.

In this sense, one of the formulas used by the hotel to increase sales and ensure a minimum occupancy in certain seasons, as well as “loyalty” to a client to a particular destination is that of the early booking offer. For the UK market in particular is formula is not known, although for most of the Spanish. It is a way to save a significant sum of money (discounts as high as 20% of total reserves), without having to risk your money in case of cancellation due to the cancellation policies – becoming more flexible, “that hoteliers offer. In this sense, the provision as a way of saving formula could be a real savings for someone who does not want to give up their long-awaited vacation.
