The Amazon jungle is located in the far south of Venezuela and covers an area of 175,750 square km, approximately 2% of the area of the country.

65,000 inhabitants live, and over half are indigenous people belonging to more than 20 different tribes with their own language, culture and social structure.

In the most extreme and least accessible territory in the Sierra de Parim live in a state of complete isolation of the Yanomami Indians, who still maintain intact their ancient tribal traditions. Puerto Ayacucho, founded in 1924 by an engineer, Santiago Aguerrevere, it ‘s only town and capital of the state “Amazonas”.

In this world, unspoiled natural, formed by immense forests, the only ways of communication are the major rivers, Orinoco, Rio Negro and Casiquiare or private aircraft. Undoubtedly, the ‘Amazon is a special world, a garden of peace, where you forget the’ watch and rest it.
